1. Good machinability
Carbon steel (especially low-carbon steel) has good cutting performance and can be easily formed through machining methods such as turning, milling, drilling, etc.
Its hardness is moderate, neither too soft to cause sticking of the tool, nor too hard to cause rapid tool wear.

Carbon steel (especially low-carbon steel) has good welding performance and is suitable for various welding processes, such as arc welding, gas shielded welding (MIG/TIG), etc.
