Stainless steel round pipe is a hollow circular stainless steel pipe widely used in various building decoration fields such as fences, stair handrails, courtyard doors, etc. The bending process requires flatness, precise angles, and no cracking.
1)Hot bending method: First, fix the roller on the iron plate according to the outer diameter of the 304 stainless steel round tube, fill the tube with sand, block both ends of the tube with wooden plugs, and heat the elbow seal with a flame before bending.
2)Cold bending method: using a bending machine to roll and form multiple times. Before using the bending machine, it is necessary to conduct a trial run. The bottom must have a gap in the thickness of the board, and the bending groove must be selected with a groove that is 8 times the thickness of the board.
1) During the manufacturing process, friction between the workpiece and the tool can generate high heat, making the tool prone to wear. Therefore, the requirements for tool materials are more stringent, requiring wear resistance and high temperature resistance. And it must meet the requirements of sharp edges.
2) Slow processing speed, excessive force during cutting process, and low production efficiency; In addition, due to its high calorific value, sulfur chloride is generally used as a cooling oil for better results. The most difficult part is drilling deep holes and tapping. So it is required that workers who process 304 stainless steel round pipes have good experience and skills.
1) Bend: The general requirement for a 304 stainless steel round pipe elbow R is a radius (centerline) R ≥ 1.5~2 times the diameter of the elbow. If the R angle of the elbow is too small, the R angle of the elbow will become flat. The bending R-angle of the same stainless steel pipe is generally consistent, meeting the consistency of the wheel mold. The straight edge length of the elbow must be ≥ 2 times the diameter, otherwise the bending die cannot be clamped smoothly.
2) Process hole: The welding seam of 304 stainless steel round tube should consider reserving process holes to better discharge the welding slag generated during welding.
3) Processing performance: Firstly, attention should be paid to the processing performance of 304 stainless steel round pipes. When cutting stainless steel, it has high plasticity, high toughness, high cutting energy consumption, high cutting temperature, low thermal conductivity of stainless steel, poor heat dissipation, and is prone to tool temperature rise. Strengthening the bonding and weldability of stainless steel makes it easy to block and accumulate during the cutting process, ultimately leading to a decrease in the surface smoothness of stainless steel pipes.
