Since the mold for the motor casing is so important, how can we do it well? What factors need to be considered.
1. Wear resistance
When the product blank is stamped and molded in the mold cavity, it will flow along the surface of the mold cavity, causing strong impact friction between the mold surface and the blank. This situation can lead to mold wear, so the material wear resistance of the motor shell mold needs to be carefully considered.
2. Toughness
The motor casing mold is prone to cracking during operation due to the frequent need to withstand large impact loads. To prevent this situation, materials with high toughness should be selected for the manufacturing of the motor casing mold.
3. Fatigue resistance
The motor shell mold is in a state of repeated heating and cooling during the working process. This processing method can cause significant tension and pressure on the surface of the mold, causing surface cracking and peeling, thereby increasing friction and reducing the dimensional accuracy of the mold. Therefore, the motor shell mold needs to have good cold and hot fatigue resistance.
